Interpol are a new York City rock band formed in 1997 with Paul Banks vocals and recently on bass following prior to touring Dengler left the band, Danny Kessler guitars, Carlos Dengler bass, Sam Fogarino Drums and Brandon Curtis joining the band on tour to play keyboards. The band all take part in the Songwriting process rathe than one particular songwriter. Glasgow band “Honeyblood” taken from the self titled excellent album “Honeyblood” have played a lot of shows this year with original drummer Shona McVicar suprisingly departing the band before the start of the last tour, now replaced by Car Myers and with a co-headline slot on the next NME New Breed tour with Birmingham band Superfood and a new video for the song “Choker” a song based on Angela Carter short story “The Bloody Chamber”.

The House Of Love are a English alternative rock band formed in 1986 the band rose to prominence as a leading Indie Rock band between 1983 before splitting in 1993, Eventually reforming in 2003 primalary known for their psychedelic guitar sound and the succesful singles the debut “Shine On” and “Christine” and the classic “Destroy The Heart” the creative base of the band were singer songwriter and guitarist Guy Chadwick and guitarist vocalist Terry Bickers. Chadwick who had been inspired by seeing “The Jesus and Mary Chain” signed to Creation Records.

A new track from the excellent band Genghar, the band are steadily making a name for themselves touring heavily with support slots with Wolf Alice and Dry The River more recently. This is the B-side of the new single “Powder” which we featured her awhile ago. they have a superb lead guitar player who plays a strange looking guitar that could be a futurama or a silvertone but its very cool and give a great sound, all available on Transgressive Records.
