Buzz records band the Beverleys and the self titled release EP, three friends formed the band in 2011, three years of countless rehearsals and gigging with dual guitars and drummer grungy heaviness.

Paper Days track “Golden” taken from the EP Playground Dreams, this California band touches post punk and garage rock currently based in the beautiful city of San Diego, addictive guitar rhythms and gnarly bass lines and drums, these guys are ready to make some noise.

34 years ago this weekend the Joy Division vocalist and lyricist Ian Curtis, tragically took his own life but the legacy that the post punk pioneer and his songs, have left behind is unmistakable, despite only releasing two full length albums “Unknown Pleasures” and “Closer” his influence is evident in their sound produced by countless bands who continue to be inspired, his baritone vocal, dance style amd minimilistic sound, the tone of Curtis’s voice and the lyrics were huge,

here is a cover of the song “Transmission” slowed down and recorded around the time of LOW’s second album,
next up is the Band PINK MOUNTAINTOPS and their version of “Atomosphere” sounding very much like the Velvet Underground would if they had covered this song

and a version from the seminal goth,punk band THE CURE with “Love Will Tear Us Apart”

A track taken from the album “The Best Ways To Disappear ” they might have a disney type name but this band have a huge following Paramore’s Hayley Williams and Chad Gilbert from New Found Glory , Hooky type songs with loads of major chords

All girl drone post punk band that features members from Sauna Youth and the Slowcoaches are set to release their new EP “Culture Of the Copy” with some existing earlier demos from two years ago, a little more refined with a bigger sound, they will be playing in Nottingham on July 19th with the Witching Waves, venue to be confirmed

these two young women from Glasgow, Stina Tweeddale on guitars, vocals and with Shona McVicar playing drums the band Honeyblood are full of devilish punky sounds, excellent songs and with a great summer festival feel good nature about the band, the debut album will be out on July 15th,

with so much written about this band especially over their performances at this years SXSW festival in Austin Texas,  more known for their blasts of Noise Punk Pop this is a little more melodic  and shown a little reverance to one of Bruce Springsteens songs from the Darkness On The Edge Of Town album track, still lots of feedback but wth a little more restraint.
