Building towards the arrival of their new album “Man It Feels Like Space Again” on Friday 26th January, Pond unveil its warped pop crown  the Australian psych band featuring members of Tame Impala, share another track from their upcoming new album to be released on January 26th in the UK via Caroline Records.
‘Zond’ is the latest track from the Perth outfit, and comes with the zany video  which was shot last December. Directed by Lord Fascinator (aka Johnny Mackay from Children Collide), the video is a zany ride of the band dancing in lycra bodysuits, and dressed as old ladies, before and rockin’ out in the pool.

We also know the new material makes for a killer live show – just gorge below on the in-studio version of ‘Elvis’ Flaming Star’ Pond played on Seattle radio station KEXP last month. The fiery tribute to The King, along with ‘Sitting Up On Our Crane‘ – an “anxiety power ballad” according to the band – prove we can expect great things from the spiritual sequel to 2013’s album “Hobo Rocket”. live in the KEXP studio. Heavy winding psychedelics from Mt. Mountain who formed in mid 2012 in Perth, Western Australia.
The release of a well-received demo ‘Omed’ in 2013 and their debut self- produced Mt Mountain “EP”
in 2014 has led to the winning of the 2014 WAM “Breakthrough Artist” award and
international/national support shows and tours with the likes of Om, Bardo Pond, King Gizzard
& The Wizard Lizard, Stonefield and Earthless.”

Straight off the back of our mid 2014 EP release, We’ve spent the later half of the year
back in the studio writing and recording our debut full-length album. December brings a brand
new single “Chantry” from the upcoming album recorded by Broderick Madden-Scott & Jeremy
Beste at Fremantle Recording Studios. The new single will also be the second vinyl release from
the band pressed alongside another new track on a very limited edition 7 Inch that will be launched
on December 19 at Mojos Bar Fremantle.

Fait is Perth musician Elise Higgins.

Her debut EP Atmosphere was produced by Darren Lawson (MBV, White Lies) and consists of layers of reverb drenched guitars, strings, piano, atmospherics and noise.

This young musical maestro goes by the name of Nick Sowersby. Having only just released his debut record, the blissed-out, euphoric dream-pop meets neo-psychedelica Wonderer, Sunbeam Sound Machine has left a late but most definite mark on the year.

We hate to make obvious comparisons, but we’ve not witnessed a talent like this since a young Perth lad by the name of Kevin Parker stormed into the music scene some years ago, and the DIY aesthetic that runs in Parkers veins is ramped in Sowersby too.

Gazing into 2015, we are certain the one-man-musical-machine will be one of the most sought out Aussie artists on the touring circuit.

Introducing one our fair nation’s most promising up-and-coming shoegaze and dream-pop artists, Fait. This Perth native smashed into our peripherals earlier this year with her slow-burning, ultimate brooding track ‘Slow Glow’. Generating a shitload of buzz from critics across the country, Fait’s 2014 has been a year of foundation building, and 2015 will be the year that this talented songstress will drown the masses with her beautiful sonic soundscapes.
