Saw the wonderful talented Kevin Devine on friday evening at the Bodega , what a superb singer songwriter he is with some great songs and a charismatic persona on stage I love the way he uses words, Kevin is a Brooklyn based singer songwriter known for his melodic acoustic songs introspective, sometimes political songs, a member of the band Miracle of 86, and the Goddamn band.
a dreamy hazy more relaxed song the band taking more time on production and arrangement, the drums and bass hold a steady foundation a step in the right direction,
The Mispers a london based indie alternative band have only been together 18 months and are about to release their second Ep, Unique and intricate sounding, vocalist Jack Balfour-Scott has a special voice and a slight punk tone to the band songs, a little different from their debut release “Brother” featuring a more audible violin riff “Dark Bits” is a song about finding Shelter and friend in unlikely places
