the new album COMPLETE SURRENDER due very soon from the Sheffield duo of Charles Watson and Rebecca Taylor “Slow Club” will be their third album and most probable their most accomplished yet. they are a storming live band with the bass player and multi musician Sweet Baboo in the line up. they will be at the Deer Shed festival later this year.
Nils the long time guitarist with Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band, Neil Young, and his own band Grin has been recording and playing music for 45 years. He has a new box set showcasing his unique guitar sound and style. Mostly always playing a Fender Strat with such a distinctive guitar sound and his bandana. he also has his own Tuition site for beginners through to the experienced Player.
As Bruce has been playing a fair few supprise Cover versions at the Australian Shows he has continued the trend,Now the tour moves back to his homeland and he started the Dallas Capital One Jam Festival with Van Halen’s JUMP . the tour continues to add dates across the USA. Little Steven is still on filming duty with the hugely popular TV series Lillehammer, but it appears Patti is back on stage with the band. The E Street Band are about to be inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Icelandic singer songwriter ASGEIR covers the Nirvana song “Heart Shaped Box” he has a new album out “In the Silence” he is one of Icelands biggest ever selling artists Ásgeir Trausti is still on the rise here, but in his home country of Iceland he’s already massive. His debut album was the fastest-selling in Icelandic history; reportedly 1 in 10 people in the country own it, which seems more insane the more you think about it (Taylor Swift would have to sell 12 times what she does to achieve that here). If you want to conquer America, though, you could do worse than to nod to a band like Nirvana. This haunting, chilly cover with Ásgeir’s emotional falsetto shows what all the hÿþe is about.

with the anniversary of Kurt Cobain’s Death this week, this is the band performing at Nottingham Rock
what was a massive song last year which everyone had a take or did a remix, But this versionwith Guitar reverb and the haunting vocals of Elena Tonra add a different dimension and certainally gives it the Daughter sound.
