Shovels & Rope are an American folk duo from Charleston, South Carolina composed of husband and wife Michael Trent and Cary Ann Hearst. Combining threads from their individual solo careers, Shovels & Rope blends traditional folk rock country and Americana .

Smoke Season are Gabriel Wortman and Jason Rosen the duo based in Hollywood California, described as Folky Americana with Electronic influences, with a self released debut EP “Signals” financed totally by the band.

The Delines are probably a Americana supergroup with songs and stories from Willy Vlautin from Richmond Fontaine and the sublime heartbreak vocals from Amy Boon (Damantions) Jenny Conlee on keyboards (Decemberists) and band mate percussionist Sean Oldham (Richmond Fontaine) this is one special album Colfax is like a midnight confessional.

A lovely piece of American Alt-Country from the band Sink Ships based in Copenhagen and band members two Australians,two Danes and a Swede. Fronted by Mainman Carl Coleman the Australian this track is lifted from their self titled debut album of last year

Another amazing band from Bella Union, Horse Theif although a Texas Band moved to Oklahoma. they are American roots rock band with the huge red headed and bearded bittersweet vocals of Cameron Beckham Neil possibily they gave not one but two of the best festival performances at End of the Road I have ever seen.

Christopher Paul Stelling is a New York City based singer songwriter, a formidable and passionate performer. After his last album “False Cities” was released last year he engaged on a lengthy tour of Europe, his songs are laments and stomps with incredible finger picking guitar a new tour of Europe has just been completed a the album “Labor Against Waste” is due soon
