Put on your favorite pair of ripped jeans, and prep for an epic solo dance party in your bedroom—it’s what London-based Kid Wave would want. Although there isn’t much to their latest video, “Wonderlust,” (the four-piece essentially just rock out), watching it will make you feel all warm and fuzzy. And you will start to uncontrollably sway your head from side to side. The song is emotionally gripping as Emmery’s low voice rises behind the wave of crashing guitar chords. Similar to the nostalgic nature of their glam gloom sound, the video has a dated quality to it as the camera spins around in a hazy, faded out state.

Consisting of Lea Emmery, Serra Petale, Harry Deacon and Mattias Bhatt, the band originally comes from the likes of Sweden, Australia and London. With a steady following on the Internet over the past two years, enough sold-out shows in the U.K., and a cool label behind them (Heavenly Recordings), it’s only a matter of time before all eyes are watching them.

Kid Wave’s debut album Wonderlust will be released June 2nd via Heavenly Recordings. Until then, we’ll be playing this video and bobbing our heads non-stop

Kid Wave’s new single “Wonderlust” is released on Monday 30th March.

Pusher are emerging as one of the UK’s brightest new guitar bands. ‘Let It Break’ looks set to catapult them to a wider audience and rightly so’ from Yorkshire Pusher, a heavy Psychedelic sonic assault’ frantic beat’s, hypnotic guitar and an urgent vocals an enormous sound that instantly captivates the listener, draws you in and has you clambering for more’ –

New Zealander Singer Songwriter Hollie Fullbrook and a track from the album “Brightly Painted One” Having previously worked as a solo artist, New Zealand singer-songwriter Hollie Fullbrook took the moniker of Tiny Ruins back in 2009. With bassist Cass Basil and drummer Alex Freer added to the line-up, Tiny Ruins released its sophomore album, “Brightly Painted One”, this year on Bella Union. There is a beguiling subtlety to the record, highlighted by Fullbrook’s delicate finger-picked guitar work, her softly longing vocals and sensitive accompaniments by her band mates. Her songs are often quirky and always graced with subtle observations. “Me At The Museum, You In The Wintergardens” neatly sums up Tiny Ruins’ charms.

Having formed just over a year ago in the suburban decay of Chesham, South Bucks, Big Sixes are an exciting new force in music. Their innovative take on indie pop is a breath of fresh air in the stagnant alternative music scene

this trio from Peterborough but now Brighton based on the Heavenly Record label, The impact of Kristian Bell’s cauterizing yowl of a voice isn’t fully appreciated until you hear The Wytches thrash their way through a live set. The Brighton trio might channel Nirvana or Soundgarden in their vigorous head tossing and thicket of brutish guitar, but their sound is as wild and eerily gothic as the hound of the Baskervilles galloping over the moors. You just hope that Bell is taking care of his voice.

Happyness have been one of my favourite bands of the year, The alt rock band have smooth slacker melodies and vocal infections that recall “Pavement” thick bass line and guitar lines make a brilliant musical combination, the band are just perfect.Debut album “Weird Little Birthday” leaves “Happyness” as one of the best bands and is a superb follow up to the self titled EP released last January.
