A-side of the out-of-print “Engineer Man” b/w “Problems” 7′-inch single released in 2013 on UK-based label Market Square Records. The song was chosen by Steven Van Zandt as the “Coolest Song In The World” on the 6/11/13 episode of Little Steven’s Underground Garage Radio show.

Most modern-day garage rock bands aim to sound as hard as possible, but The Young Sinclairs from Roanoke, Virginia, USA, in the Blue Ridge Mountains are a ’60s-influenced group who’ve sworn allegiance to the jingle jangle sound of classic folk-rock and early stirrings of psychedelia.  The Young Sinclairs emerged from the Magic Twig Community, like-minded musicians operating their own recording studio, deep in the woods where they have produced and engineered all their own recordings.

Most garage rock bands sound loud play fast but the Young Sinclairs from Roanoke Virginia are more 60’s influenced jangly guitar pop with harmonised vocals and early stirring of psychedelica. Sam Lunsford writes most of the bands songs and takes vocal lead with multi instrumentalists Daniel Cundiff and Sean Micheal, John Thompson and Jonathan Woods completing the band line up. Ample Play Records recently released a compilation of the band recordings

The Young Sinclairs are a band from Roanoke Virginia in the Blue Ridge Mountains with a sound indebted to the sixties they have been influenced by the Byrds sound, playing folk Rock with early stirrings of psychedelia and a definate Jingle Jangle guitar sound. led by the multi instrumentalist Samuel J Lunsford Their album titled  “This Is The Young Sinclairs” to be released on October 13th on Ample Play Records.

The Young Sinclairs, brought up and formed in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Roanoake, they have a fondness for 12 string guitars tambourines, tube amps and a bit of reverb. But the Young Sinclairs are more than a retro tinged band they create harmonius pop tunes.
