We haven’t heard anything new from the New York-based band Guards for about a year following the release of 2013′s In Guards We Trust. The band is still working on their sophomore album, but they self-released “Nothing More” today. The single picks up where In Guards We Trust left off — an array of gorgeously spun melodies rendered brighter by spirited synth lines.

Soundpool’s first two records, “On High” and “Dichotomies & Dreamland”, are of a far more traditional shoegaze ilk, with layers of synths, guitars, and gorgeous female vocals soaring throughout. The albums are lush in their production, giving you the space to enjoy the nuances of every sound as it washes over you. Just don’t touch their third record, “Mirrors in Your Eyes”, where the New York City quintet decided to experiment with space-disco. Shudder.

From the Screaming Females album “Ugly” on Don Giovanni Records Screaming Females is an American independent rock band, often labeled as a Post Punk Rock band, from New Brunswick, New Jersey. They have released five full length albums. The band features Marissa Paternoster on guitar and vocals, Jarrett Dougherty on drums, and King Mike on bass. We’ve been a band for 9 years. We used to do everything ourselves but these days a bunch of friends help us out with stuff.
New York-based musician Sheare and described his music quite enthusiastically as “irresistible”, “glowing” and “ludicrously catchy”. His new single “Nothing” deserves similar praise. Revolving around a radiant synth hook, “Nothing” is a luscious piece of synth pop that seems to be written with Festival crowd singalong in mind. The New DVD documentary Box Set R.E.M T.V is set to tell the story of the band via their appearances on the network, which is will be released along with many of the groups sessions and performances in a new 7 DVD set,

The documentary and a host of other material MTV will be released on the seven-disc I Want My REMTV on 24 November.

Interpol are a new York City rock band formed in 1997 with Paul Banks vocals and recently on bass following prior to touring Dengler left the band, Danny Kessler guitars, Carlos Dengler bass, Sam Fogarino Drums and Brandon Curtis joining the band on tour to play keyboards. The band all take part in the Songwriting process rathe than one particular songwriter. This song a track from the bands Fifth album “El Pintor” the band are performing on a dimly lit stage while a guy at the bar looks through photos of his past life.
