Jeff Lynne’s ELO packed London’s enormous Wembley Stadium to the rafters this past June with a greatest-hits set featuring many of the band’s most classic songs including “Mr. Blue Sky,” “Evil Woman,” and “All Over the World.”  Now, that gig is getting a wide release this Friday, November 17th.  Wembley or Bust will arrive on that date from Columbia Records in a variety of formats: 2CD/1DVD; 2CD/1BD; 2 CD; and 3LP.

Recorded on June 24th, the Wembley concert has been described by recent Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Lynne as “the best time I ever had in music” and “beyond anything I could have imagined.”  The upcoming release preserves the 23-song  marathon setlist, which in addition to the famous ELO songs, also included The Traveling Wilburys’ “Handle with Care” – a particularly poignant inclusion now after the untimely passing of Lynne’s friend and bandmate, Tom Petty.  The nostalgic ballad “When I Was a Boy,” from ELO’s acclaimed 2015 album All Alone in the Universe, was also played.

All Our Exes Live in Texas is a fantasy draft of Sydney musical talent – Elana Stone, Katie Wighton, Hannah Crofts & Georgia Mooney – all beautiful performers in their own right, here combining in four-part folk heaven.

On mandolin, ukulele, accordion and guitar, All Our Exes Live in Texas deliver tunes that are clearly crafted with taste, care and skill in the context of a spontaneous, playful and utterly charming live show. With four songwriters and four unique voices, All Our Exes Live in Texas make music that is refreshingly different, drawing influence from traditional four-part harmony to create a brand new type of modern folk. Fair warning: You’ll need your charisma sunnies or you’ll walk out of the building a little bit in love.

Watching All Our Exes Live In Texas transform from a one-off coming together of Sydney singer-songwriters a few years ago to the musical powerhouse they are today has been just a joy. When their debut album “When We Fall” dropped this year fans were rewarded with some fine fine songwriting, pitch perfect production and a true celebration of the four part harmony. Despite the disparate styles of each member’s solo work, When We Fall is a beautiful, cohesive album that demands to be listened to over and over again.

Sydney folksters All Our Exes Live In Texas have just unearthed a new musical gem from their soon-to-be-released album, When We Fall. Dubbed ‘Boundary Road’, the sweet little single comes packing a sweet music video that showcases the gals’ on-stage chops.

The clip was shot during the group’s Sydney single launch at Oxford Art Factory in October of last year, and will likely bring a smile to your face as the song brings a tear to your eye.

Boundary Street is a street in West End – a suburb in Brisbane that I spent a lot of time in as a uni student,” explains singer and guitarist Katie Wighton, who reckons the idea for the song was sparked by a brekky date with her mum.  “My Mum and I would often eat brekky there on a Saturday morning,” she says. “We had this one… ‘discussion’ that got quite heated and ended with her saying ‘What if I want to be the one to fall apart once in a while’. She’s a singer/songwriter which means she is generally accidentally poetic. So I stole those words and made them into the chorus for ‘Boundary Road’.
