Siobhan Mazzei – A haunting voice to remember and fascinating guitar skills to match. From Leicester born and bred, Siobhan grew up in various parts of the city surrounding herself with all forms of music possible. Today, Siobhan slays crowds small and large with her prodigious guitar skills (which include inviting rhythms, fearsome tapping and banging-beat technique) and remarkably fragile yet powerful vocals. Currently she is recording her own music and has tracks available on her page “www.siobhanmazzei.bandcamp.com”Siobhan’s dream is to make her music heard by hundreds, if not millions; whether that be playing live or hearing her tracks booming out the speakers of your living room. The goal is to entertain you. Yes, You. As long as her craft is appreciated and there is a reaction chemically inside that fills you with emotion and fills your heart, she’s already there. please check her out
Leicester duo now based in London Lusts, who are comprised of siblings Andy and James Stone—have a sound lost in the hazy reverb of the late 80’s and early 90s. Their music is a bit reminiscent of Jesus and The Mary Chain, Echo and the Bunnymen, and Ride coaxed into a delirious three way. If this were 25 years ago, they would have to have been signed to Creation Records! Be sure to check out their new track “Mouthwash” with its swashes of shoegaze infused pop and reverb-laced guitar licks on ‘Mouthwash’ leaving you’re ears to soak in its atmospheric landscape. the band recently supported Coves.
Selected as one of the ’10 faces to watch in 2015′ by The Independent, Jinnwoois the most singular new folk talent i’ve heard in some time, His gothic folk-croak is a confessional reel unspooling from his innards, a tale of circling doom” A rising talent in the folk world, Jinnwoo has been setting hearts ablaze with his off-kilter guitarisms and distinct, emotive vocals.
Leicester’s best kept secret Jinnwoo sneaks unassumingly into view, unleashing a voice awash with waves of sorrow. His acoustic, dark–edged folk speaks directly to that part of us all which has sat forlornly on dirty doorsteps after the pubs close, trying desperately to put feelings into words.” Its a strikingly potent track full of emotion and a stripped back grace that feels completely alien to everything else around at the moment. It’s rustic and aged in influence, Sombre but beautiful.
Leicester brothers Andy and James Stone are also a dark-pop duo called Lusts, an outfit that’s already offering some very exciting sounds at the outset of their career. We’ve already given you the premiere of their debut single, “Temptation”, and it’s a doozy with a strong Echo and The Bunnymen feel .These brothers aren’t afraid to waggle their overt ’80s influences under our noses. New Order, Joy Division and even Spandau Ballet are nodded to, but while Lusts sound like a band steeped in the sounds of 30 years yonder, they don’t sound like they’re doppelgängering any particular act. They’re like hidden gems, a newfound relic of a generation lost.
AA-side single “Temptation”/”Cross” will not be released until early march on 1965 Records .

Hackman’s first release was an EP of covers, which was available for digital download in January 2013.
