Allman Brown London based has a warm and gorgeous vocal with some beautiful songs to boot expect him to be a firm festival favourite, this summer a little Ben Howard about his voice don’t you think…………check out his new song ” Fields of England ” with the even more amazing Sophie Jamieson . Marika Hackman will be at Latitude later this month, she has also annonoced a first British Tour and will be playing the Nottingham Bodega and Leicester Musician, with her first Ep produced by Johnny Flynn whom she had met at school where they both studied Hackman’s music is described as Indie Folk  with dark brooding lyrics and melancolic sound

Singer and songwriter Kami Thompson daughter of the wonderful Richard and Linda Thompson along with her husband James Wallbourne once guitarist with the Pretenders and the Pogues, Forming the RAILS the duo have forged their Folk influences also with production duities in his London Studios from Edwyn Collins. The album is set to be released on the Island Records label who have ressurected the famous Pink Label for this release, Photos are taken by the lovely Jinwoo.

Merrymouth is the Folk project from my cousin Simon Fowler vocalist and songwriter of the Indie Rock Band Ocean Colour Scene and his unmistakeable Vocal, along with Dan Sealy and Adam Barry the three piece have the second album “Wenlock Hill”  due out in May followed by a UK tour. Simon and His Band Merrymouth will be playing the Glee Club in Nottingham Sunday 18th May. support will be from Emily Sanders.
