ROCKAWAY BEACH Butlin’s Bognor Regis 10th-12th January 2020
Posted: February 28, 2019 in FESTIVALS, MUSICTags: Bognor Regis, Rockaway Beach

We like to bring generations of alternative music fans together in one surreal setting, and never has that been truer than at Rockaway Beach 2020.
Joining The Jesus And Mary Chain, we’re very proud to announce the first ever festival headline performance from Fontaines D.C.. It’s the first time we’ve invited a band to headline ahead of even their debut album being released, but at no point was there ever a shred of doubt that it simply had to be Fontaines D.C. for next January’s show.
There’s only a few bands that come along with that inescapable fire in their eyes. The momentum behind them is undeniable. It just had to be done and we know you will stand with us on this.
Also, from a spot on BBC Sound of 2015 list SOAK captured the British imagination with the Mercury-nominated Before We Forgot How to Dream. The record won the Irish Choice Music Prize Album of the Year, setting her as an indispensable young voice capable of painting “a vivid portrait of teenage deep-thinking” (The Guardian).
Fronted by the IDLES-referenced Danny Nedelko,Heavy Lungs are also joining our programme – with their feverish live show. Not to mention returning heroes The Wedding Present and a heck of a lot more. We’ve still got one more headliner to confirm, and dozens more acts to announce as well as DJ’s, quizzes, film screenings and interactive games.

110 ABOVE FESTIVAL Gopsall Hall Farm Leicester 2nd-4th August 2019
Posted: February 19, 2019 in FESTIVALS, MUSICTags: 110 Above Festival, Gopsall Hall Farm, Leicestershire

Ten years in the making… Our first wave lineup announcement for the tenth 110 Above Festival at Gopsall Hall Farm, Leicestershire.
With a catalogue of indie hits we are delighted to welcome Mystery Jets as our Saturday night headliner! Sunday night will be headlined by the truly amazing and critically acclaimed Pale Waves who are fresh from having a huge 2018 and supporting The 1975’s arena tour. These are two bands we’ve been trying to bring to Gopsall for a while so we are over the moon it’s finally happening!
As always at 110, we endeavour to curate lineups that are bursting at the seams with talent from the first drum beat to the last. 2019 will not be an exception with other acts including previous stage headliners Little Comets and Eliza and the Bear (bring the flamingo!)
We can never resist a few ‘faves’ returning as well as new faces including Easy Life, Anteros, Clean Cut Kid, Indoor Pets, Marsicans and Dan Owen… the list goes on with Apre, Among the Citizens, Arcade Hearts, Childcare, Deco (with a late night session performance, maybe?), Idolising Nova, Kawala, Lauran Hibberd, No Hot Ashes, Only The Poets, Roe, SPINN, Swimming Girls, The Howl & The Hum and The Modern Strangers completing our first 25 acts!
We are elated to welcome SWIM DEEP as our Friday night Commune Stage headliners! SWIM DEEP join MYSTERY JETS and PALE WAVES to make a pretty darn big top line for our little festival!
After a VERY patient wait for their return to Gopsall, we are really excited to confirm JAWS as our Saturday night Old Town Hall headliner.
We’re also looking forward to BENJAMIN FRANCIS LEFTWICH who will be playing a special afternoon session in the beautiful Old Town Hall (OTH) on Sunday. How serene will that be with a cider in hand?
The names don’t stop there! We’ve only gone and bagged the incredible NO ROME who is fresh from supporting and collaborating with the 1975!
Lovely MAISIE PETERS will bring the vibe with a headline performance in the OTH on Sunday evening.
We’re stepping up our game in the Gopsall Inn this year with BLOXX confirming as our Saturday headliners!
Talent continues with other additions including ZUZU, THE TIN PIGEONS, MILLIE TURNER, PIZZAGIRL, FUZZY SUN, DECLAN J DONOVAN, TOM LUMLEY AND THE BRAVE LIASON, ADANNAY, CHRISTEN KWAWE, ROVES, TILLY VALENTINE AND TOM MOUSE SMITH!
It might be hard to believe but we still have a few more artists to announce!
