Its so good when you go to a gig that you also find yourself a little gem, playing support last night to The MOONS the band LOIS were a catchy and irresistible with a retro style sound to the 60/70s and I found that they were more enjoyable, with a awesome organ sound that reminded me of Stevie Winwood early Traffic and a thundering great drummer, great vocals and harmonies. They have a new album out soon THE POLPERRO HORSE BUS COMPANY but also pick up the “VELVET MORNINGS” Ep.

Here in Nottingham we’re proper excited for the start of the festival season, and Dot to Dot is where this year’s festival Nottsness begins!, For us Dot To Dot’s growth in terms of supporting local Nottingham music has paralleled that of the city’s music scene in general – Dot To Dot gave JAKE BUGG, DOG IS DEAD,SAINT RAYMOND and INDIANA early shows, first in Nottingham and then in all three cities. This year we have a piece of Nistory, we have SAINT RAYMOND, a Nottingham artist, headlining the event in all three cities!
On top of this huge occasion, Dot To Dot also announces today another huge Notts-tastic line-up with the following artists joining the festival for 2015. featuring some great bands in and around Nottingham’s best Music Venues, Peace, Real Estae and Wolf Alice among many others
