SEM Video Exclusive: Elephant Stone Premieres “Living for Something” (Alex Maas [The Black Angels] Remix)

Today, SEM premieres the video for Alex Maas’ remix of Elephant Stone’s “Living for Something.”

“Living for Something” is the fourth track on Elephant Stone’s ES3PRMX, which comes out on 2nd June 2015. Montreal’s Elephant Stone was formed in 2009 by sitarist/bassist Rishi Dhir. As one of the most highly sought out sitar players in the international psych scene, he has recorded, performed and toured with Beck, the Black Angels, Brian Jonestown Massacre, the Horrors, and many more.

Elephant Stone has released two LPs, an EP, and has toured throughout North American and Europe. They have spear-headed the Hindie-Rock movement with their deft ability of weaving together rock’n’roll, Hindustani classical, and catchy-as-all-hell pop. 2014 will see the release of Elephant Stone’s third full-length, The Three Poisons. Their strongest/grooviest release to date,

Check out what Maas – the inimitable lead singer of The Black Angels – has done with one of the best tracks on Elephant Stone’s 2014 LP, The Three Poisons. Directed by Elba Berganza http://cargocollective.com/elba

Alex Maas of the Black Angels takes this deep cut off of The Three Poisons and makes it his own.
