“Flavor,” was the debut single from the Twin Peaks’ sophomore LP, ‘Wild Onion,’ out last August on Grand Jury, these Chicagoans bring the goodtime bar-pop no doubt, but there’s a higher level of tunesmithery here than your best bro’s band, not to mention one sick-ass drummer. That debated bump-up in production was just what the band needed to expose their super-strong, shiny hooks and brief, melodic, flowery byways they skid onto. Speaking of which, all that touring, including like 27 CMJ shows, honed them into a tight little gang too.

The Band Twin Peaks have been heavily talked about for the last few months since playing Pitchfork festival  in July, followed  by a brief headlining tour with the Lemons, and this their first full length release. The 16 song album is heavily influenced by Glam Rock T.Rex Rolling Stones, The Smith Westerns that sort of  really catchy rock and roll.
