The Honey Ants are John Grimsey and Rebecca Hamer. The Shepherd’s Bush duo formed back in the spring of 2013 and have since built a reputation on the London live circuit for their knock-out shows. Their unique sound, build around exquisite bitter sweet harmonies, has developed from its folk roots into something much more complex and darker – elements of Southern gospel and country blended with London attitude.
2014 was a pivotal year for the band, from appearances at The Isle of Wight Festival to song writing adventures in the Icelandic countryside, it was a year of discovery and breaking creative boundaries. 2015 will see the fruit of this productive year, with the release of some brand new material.
