The inimitable King Tuff, or Tuffy to his mates, certainly managed to turn a few heads with this, his fourth album and second on Sub Pop Records. this is an amazing video, The “Black Moon Spell” likes to dance in slithering circles around your skull. Look at it revolving like a wicked little layer cake on your drooling tongue. My best advice would be to kiss it, make hot love to it, get dizzy with it. The “Black Moon Spell” is a very good lover.

On Sub Pop Records Mirel Wagner grew up in Finland her minimalistic sounds and songwriting was spotted at a open mic night convinced of her talent she was persuaded to record 12 songs for a demo, Nine of which made the debut album, beautiful with a strange fragile tension, trance inducing acoustic guitar with subtle lyrics.

its been so long since we had anything new from the band AVI BUFFALO and guitar maestro Avi Zahner Isenberg the debut album came out in April 2010 to rave review and the tour that followed was well received. Isenberg has confirmed a new album out in August 2014.
