Elevant is the brainchild of Songwriter/Singer/Guitarist Michael Edward. Heralding from Liverpool’s rich creative melting pot, it was initially formed as a recording project but has metamorphosed into a full band, drawing on influences in hard rock, psychedelia, post punk, rock and roll, krautrock and blues, plus whatever else happens to cross our ears, Check them out Live…..Not to mention the Elevant’s wide range of musical influences, for example; hard rock, psychedelia, post punk, rock and roll and krautrock and blues – to name but a few of the sounds heard during the evening from the band. As soon as they began to play the audience seemed to double in size and everyone was geared up for something special which is rare with such a new band, however they deserved the buzz! Each song played was unique, which is a task in itself with the vast amount of new music about in Liverpool. But most importantly they most definitely enjoyed themselves, taken away in the moment, which was incredibly entertaining. I would state they are on of the best live bands in the UK! I suggest you go and see them while they are on the up.
