Elevant are a visceral, exciting and smart rock band. Able to blend genres effortlessly whilst always retaining their own sound that can kick you in the gut or softly soothe (on occasion), they spin dark tales of modern day disillusionment. They combine crushing riffs with warped sonic textures and irresistible grooves, all whilst maintaining a knack for infectious hooks.

Their new single, “Hide it Away” is out now, as are their three albums “There is a Tide”, “Dreamface” and “Elevant”

Loner Noise is a record label, formed in 2014 by Michael Edward of the band Elevant, under the name Elevant Music Limited. It’s since grown beyond being just a vehicle for that, and now has an extensive roster of some of the finest and most interesting rock music around.

Official Video for Open Heart Surgery by Elevant. Initially formed as a recording project, but now a band in every sense of the word. In our short life since our inception near the start of 2014 we’ve released two albums on our own record label and toured the country multiple times. Our self titled debut came out September 2014, and the new record, “Dreamface”, in March 2015. Industrious little scamps aren’t we!

We’re ravenous music obsessives and incorporate a broad palette of flavours into our sound, drawing from psychedelia, hard rock, post punk, doom, shoegaze, post hardcore, noise rock, krautrock, blues and pretty much anything else we love.

Michael Edward – Guitar/Vocals
Hannah Lodge – Bass Guitar

Elevant is the brainchild of Songwriter/Singer/Guitarist Michael Edward. Heralding from Liverpool’s rich creative melting pot, it was initially formed as a recording project but has metamorphosed into a full band, drawing on influences in hard rock, psychedelia, post punk, rock and roll, krautrock and blues, plus whatever else happens to cross our ears, Check them out Live…..Not to mention the Elevant’s wide range of musical influences, for example; hard rock, psychedelia, post punk, rock and roll and krautrock and blues – to name but a few of the sounds heard during the evening from the band. As soon as they began to play the audience seemed to double in size and everyone was geared up for something special which is rare with such a new band, however they deserved the buzz! Each song played was unique, which is a task in itself with the vast amount of new music about in Liverpool. But most importantly they most definitely enjoyed themselves, taken away in the moment, which was incredibly entertaining. I would state they are on of the best live bands in the UK! I suggest you go and see them while they are on the up.
