Cheshire band Leatherneck’s brilliant new single ‘Caffeine’. Like its liquid namesake, the song (taken from upcoming EP ‘Lighting up the Tilt Sign’ out on August 5th) is addictive, awakening, and absolutely amazing either on its own or with two spoonfuls of sugar. Equal parts melodic rock, post-grunge, and pop-punk right up until the last minute – which happens to be 60 seconds of the finest recorded noise that you’ll ever hear – Leatherneck’s maturing sound will provide you the perfect counterpart to whatever crap Monday throws your way.

Leatherneck have signed to Close To Home Records for the EP, titled ‘Lighting Up The Tilt Sign’, which is due for release on 5th August. It was recorded during the winter of 2015.

Sample “Swings & Waterslides” the debut track online from Cheshire UK band Viola Beach. A neatly constructed and imagined bit of a A+ indie pop, “Swings & Waterslides” is made of the sort of UK indie DNA that compose potential breakout bands. A very strong debut and band to definitely keep an eye toward.

Kris Leonard – Guitar/Vocals
River Reeves – Guitar
Tomas Lowe – Bass
Jack Dakin – Drums

Cheshire based indie-rock trio The Luka State released  the single ‘Rain’ in the summer of 2014 – a superb, powerful indie ballad covering a solemn subject matter, and which reminds us of Doves and Richard Ashcroft.
