Prism Bitch started as a performance arts project in Albuquerque, NM, but rapidly volcanoed into total bandhood by 2016. Their first release “The Getaway,” was self released in October of 2016. Since then, they have played Treefort Music Fest, toured the west coast, played tons of local shows and recorded an EP with the respected engineer, Toshi Kasai (Dave Matthews Band, Foo Fighters ) in Los Angeles.

The group has created a reputation for wild live performances, retaining their roots as a thrashing punk band, and has also developed a strong pop sensibility, often compared to The Pixies and the B-52’s. They manage to represent a wide span of influences but could best be best described as soul punkers that want to rock n’ roll no matter what.
