Head for the Hills is back for 2018! Today we’re thrilled to unveil a first look at this year’s programme, including headliners The Selecter and The Beat feat. Ranking RogerThe Bluetones and The Boomtown Rats.

Headlining on Friday 14 September are 2Tone ska greats The Selecter and The Beat feat. Ranking Rogermaking a rare joint appearance. Don’t miss this opportunity to see Pauline Black of The Selecter and Ranking Roger of The Beat on stage together performing phenomenal hits like Mirror In The Bathroom, Too Nice To Talk To and On My Radio.

Britpop giants The Bluetones come to Ramsbottom to headline on Saturday 15 September. The London-based four-piece originally formed in the ‘90s and scored their biggest hit in 1996 with Slight Return. Closing the festival on Sunday 16 September will be the outstanding Boomtown Rats. With a career spanning four decades and fronted by legendary Irish singer-songwriter Bob Geldof, the band recently announced their first album in over thirty years. Also appearing on Saturday 15 will be frontman and guitarist of The Futureheads Barry Hyde, who will be performing the band’s beloved anthems alongside songs from his critically acclaimed 2016 album Malody
