This version comes from. Only a guess, the video of 1/19/77 BBC Sights and Sounds, he opens the show with Do you read me. But the announcer comes on at the beginning of the broadcast to announce and Rory is already on stage he played ‘something ” already, but its not in the broadcast. My understanding is this version of “I Take What I Want”..because Rory played it virtually every single show in 76/77 tour. Also, on the G-men bootleg series CDs, this show (1/19//77) is part of it and includes the last song “Bullfrog Blues”, which was also not broadcast on TV, but was on the radio simulcast. Put “Take What I Want” and put it at the beginning, and “BullfrogBlues” at the end and you should pretty much have he whole set.

Recorded live at The Hippodrome, Golders Green on 20th of January. 1977
Rory Gallagher – Guitar, vocals
Gerry McAvoy – Bass
Lou Martin – Keyboards
Rod DeAth – Drums
