Ahead of their forthcoming self-titled debut album, which is due for release on 16th October, Nothing But Thieves,  the band’s vocalist Conor Mason has spoken about their recent set at Reading and Leeds festivals and the new album “We began recording it last summer and finished it a few months ago. We just are so particular about our sound that we kept going back and nitpicking at it. We’re so proud of how it’s come out, worked out asses off and cannot wait to release it. After the release we’re literally on tour straight off for a month and a half so we can’t fucking wait for that.

About Reading Festival: “This year I’m literally going to jump over and spend the day in the NME / Radio 1 tent. The line up’s fucking nuts: Slaves, Circa Waves, Everything Everything, Catfish and the Bottlemen.

“And I’m looking forward to catching up with Marmozets and Twin Atlantic,

The band’s summer of festivals has also been helpful in shaping their new album. “You can definitely tell what your crowd reacts to and what songs they favour etc, so it’s always a good place to judge.

Then it’s just tour tour tour heavily. Bring it on.”
