One of the greatest voices in the history of rock, Janis Joplin, was silenced after her tragic death at the age of 27 in 1970. It’s hard to predict what the future would’ve held for Janis had she survived, but considering all she accomplished in just a few short years before her death, we’d imagine Janis would’ve continued her innovative ways. a phenomenal Big Brother & The Holding Company performance from 1968 that was recently unearthed by Music Vault.
