Iris Campo, the drummer of indie mainstays Roads since the halcyon days of ’97, is embarking upon her own solo career. The Spainish Born, but now Montréal-based songstress has enlisted Scott Moffatt (The Moffatts) to help produce her debut EP in Nashville.
Being “reborn” after serious surgery following a life-threatening bout of Ulcerative-Colitis, Campo was spurred on to fearlessly strive for greatness. Along this journey, she met musical mentor Steven Tyler of Aerosmith which “led to an exclusive invite on his following show to further hang out, chat about music and learning invaluable advice for her career.”

The first track, “I’ll Wait For You” is an addictive, heart-warming ’70s pop belter laced with slappy, slippery bass grooves, modern synth pop melodies and the fizzing coo of Campo’s Haim-esque vocals.
