Silent Sleep is the music project of Christopher McIntosh, who has just released this rather engaging little alt- folk song ‘I Wish It Could Be Different’, along with an even more cute little animated video that is guaranteed to bring a smile to your face. Plus it reminds me of Trumpton or Camberwick Green We definitely would love one of those clocks!.
McIntosh formerly played in Liverpool bands 28 Costumes and Hallo…I Love You! Returning to Liverpool in 2012 after a few years in Berlin, in September of the same year a successful pledge music campaign enabled his debut album, ‘Walk Me To The Sea’, to be recorded and was released in May 2013. He has also produced two EPs, ‘This Scissor Disaster Parts 1 and 2.’
‘I Wish It Could Be Different’ is taken from the forthcoming album ‘Stay The Night, Stay The Morning Too’.
In January this year, Silent Sleep signed a deal with Red Touch Media whilst out in Salt Lake City playing shows at the Sundance Film Festival.
