Chiming guitar pop trio from Limerick, Ireland, whose latest EP Given Up dropped in November. The band consist of Aoife Power (vocals/ bass), Niall Burns (guitar), Andrew Flood (drums). First meeting as teenagers, sneaking into the only indie bar of their city in Ireland, they bonded over cheap vodka and The Velvet Underground. Soon after, Niall moved to London, with Andrew and Aoife quickly following, and here they began writing songs together.

They have released singles such as Heaven On Earth and a cover of the Cranberries classic Dreams, and supported The Vaccines and Blossoms acroos the year. They kick off 2019 with a UK tour and you can hear the track Given Up below.

The self-titled Isaac Gracie album is released through Virgin EMI. It was largely produced by Markus Dravs at RAK Studios in London and features eleven tracks including the recent singles Terrified and The Death of You and I. Isaac Gracie has been finding his feet and working out who he is and discovering what he wants since the industry spotlight fell on him. The fuss was caused by a dusty-sounding, careworn home recording of Last Words that was uploaded online without expectation and any anticipation of what might follow. The voice behind it was completely new to the premise of where writing a great song might lead him. Even now he’d tell you that he’s still slowly working it all out, but this debut collection sounds as fully-realised and confident as any of recent memory. Isaac Gracie is a new British voice, A singer songwriter poetic in his placement of words and accomplished in their delivery.

When Isaac Gracie rose to fame in late 2015, we were fittingly floored by his stunning vocals and his intimate songwriting. By doing so little, Gracie often showed so much of his life. It was heart-wrenching stuff. Known for his heart wrenching song writing that gives you an immediate intrusion into his life, Isaac Gracie has released what could possibly be the boldest track he’s ever recorded.

He’s just released ‘The Death of You & I’, the room-shaking rock monster and the first from his upcoming EP of the same name. Opening with a romantic western guitar sequence and continuing the underlying romantic European twang throughout, there’s an immediate change in his compilation, Gracie’s voice is as delicate and soft as it always is before erupting into an outburst of frustration, straining over the heaviest drums and guitars he’s ever incorporated into his music.

Gracie’s vocals explodes in a soaring and ambitious chorus – like sticking a firework in a bin and watching the chaos proceed. The upcoming EP also features a collaboration with one of Britain’s best young producers – Mura Masa. An unexpected team-up, but one that will no doubt provide fruitful results.
‘Silhouettes of You’ is taken from Isaac Gracie’s forthcoming EP The Death of You &I, released on 29th September.

The Death of You & I’ is released on September 29 via Virgin EMI Records.
