This is the first song in eight years from Super Extra Bonus Party. ‘Switzerland’ is a fresh reminder of a band who have multi-genre influences so to that end, the song has indie-rock guitar riffs, synthesizers, electronic percussion and a first for the band, vocals that come from the band’s own members.

Super Extra Bonus Party return from a seven year hiatus with their new single “Switzerland” on 045 Recordings.

The single is the sound of a band enjoying making music together again, trying to push themselves while not resorting to the same trickery that made their name the first time around. Switzerland’s pulsing synth and metronomic beat may betray a Krautrock influence but the band inject it with enough of their own inimitable brand of kinetic energy and excitement for it to be simply labelled a tribute or pastiche. Equally at home with guitar wig-outs and drum machine work-outs, the Bonus Party have crafted a unique return that will endear them to old faithfuls and new listeners alike.
