Founded in Austin Texas in 2012, Matthew Squires and the Learning Disorders is an ever-evolving project, centered around the penetrating songs of singer-songwriter Matthew Squires. Between 2012 and 2015, Squires and his band have released five critically acclaimed albums and several accompanying music videos. Their work has been warmly recognized by many notable blogs and magazines, including Brooklyn Vegan, USA Today, Performer Magazine, Largehearted Boy, Surviving The Golden Age, Magnet Magazine, and more.
On August 28th, Squires and his band released their most recent EP, titled “The Giving,” which has been met again with some critical acclaim.
Matthew Squires and co. are currently playing in and around their hometown of Austin, TX, honing the new material which will make up the yet-untitled LP that they will record later in 2016.
