REM and MTV were paired together for many years both starting out at similar times in July 1981 “Radio Free Europe” was released and two weeks later the Music Television channel was launched,from that point for nearly 30 years REM and MTV documented everything about their music, inside stories and the decision to disband in 2011, with this new boxed set of 6 DVD’s a retrospective available on Rhino Records this coming November. Including live performances award show appearances obscure television appearances and a new documentary. Early pre-orders also has a 2003 special MTV Sonic show from Milan.
