Fake Laugh (AKA Kamran Khan) kicks off 2018 with a luscious double A Side on limited edition 7” vinyl and digital formats via Headcount Records. Following on from the release of his self-titled, debut album last Summer and ready to hit the road in support of Girl Ray on their UK tour, Kam delivers these two very different but equally peachy cuts. The London & Berlin based songwriter once again recruited Theo Verney to help produce the brutally honest love ballad ‘Better For Me’ and the fuzzed up earworm ‘On Loop’ – both offering a fresh take on the personal journey of Fake Laugh.

‘Better For Me / On Loop’ out now via Headcount Records,

After his album received support from 6 Music, BBC and X FM, Kam (touring member of The Japanese House) has wasted no time in getting straight back into the studio to finish these two new tracks. With more releases planned for the immediate future, man like Kamran Khan is on a roll, released April 30th, 2018

Hot on the heels of his debut LP and follow up 7” vinyl, Fake Laugh AKA Kamran Khan delivers yet two more bangers for the kids, in the form of another double A-Side. The driving, dream-pop bop that is “Honesty” features guest vocals from Poppy Hankin of previous tour-mates Girl Ray, whilst the skittish, social commentary of “Surrounded” hurtles along set against a backdrop of razor-sharp melodies and instant-hit hooks. Both tracks are accompanied by videos due for release across January & March.

Fresh from his recent relocation from Berlin to London and in the midst of supporting The Japanese House on their US tour, Kam continues to write and perform under the Fake Laugh alias which he humbly began in 2013. With another 7″ single planned and a 2nd album on the horizon, we recommend you stay locked!

Fake Laugh (AKA Kamran Khan). This London/Berlin based artist has got an incredible talent for songwriting. His self titled, debut album is out now on Headcount Records.

This track is full of soft, introspective guitar pop that made Fake Laugh’s self-titled debut last year such a wonderful listen. The cascading guitars give way to a pining chorus, with his soft-as-feathers vocals yet again pulling at the heartstrings. Beautifully dreamy.

This is the 1st track taken from the new double A side by Fake Laugh. Available to pre-order on limited edition 7″ vinyl
