The trio have “an instinct for scrappy, empathetic song writing” (Pitchfork), continuing along the off-kilter post punk the band has perfected and balancing eloquence and acerbity in equal form. Filled with wry observations and sharp punctuations of melody, the song is a refinement of the sound that Patio were early purveyors of.
