As they kick off their current tour tonight in Sheffield, Inheaven share the new video to ‘Stupid Things’, a track from their self-titled debut album released last month.
Comprised of footage from various teen movies such as Pretty in Pink and Badlands, the nostalgia tinged clip fits with “soundtracking our own coming-of-age film,” explain the band, “so the only way that felt really natural was to collect lots of cinematic moments that express the sentiment of the song and put them together to make our own smorgasbord of emotion. We wanted the song and video to make you feel in love and heartbroken at the same time. As we said before, ‘Stupid Things’ is a song for daydreamers, and should feel like a school crush that will last forever. We hope John Hughes would approve.”
