Lift To Experience have announced the release of a new EP featuring a previously unreleased track recorded during the band’s original iteration. Entitled Falling From Cloud 9, the EP features the original studio version of the track as well as an acoustic version of the track recorded in 2001 at XFM’s studios. The EP also features a recording from one of the band’s John Peel Sessions. Lift to Experience is an American indie rock band from Denton, Texas, that formed in 1996 with vocalist and guitarist Josh T. Pearson, drummer Andy “The Boy” Young and bassist Josh “The Bear” Browning.
The video follows the band as they got back together and prepared for their first show in 15 years. The band will continue to play together into this year with shows lined up at Summerhall’s Dissection Room in Edinburgh as part of the Fringe Festival on August 17 followed by an appearance at Green Man which takes place at Brecon Beacons from August 17th-20th. The new EP was released on May 12th.
