DMA’S Debut Album “Hills End” is out now: The DMA’S will be braving the rain and mud to play at Glastonbury festival tonight (June 23rd) at 9pm at Williams Green. This coveted sunset slot promises to be a key highlight amongst other UK festival dates this year.
After their sell out previous tour, the band will also be returning to the UK for a headline tour in October, which includes a headline date at London’s Electric Ballroom.
New single ‘Timeless’ conveys an upbeat rhythm of driven guitars alongside a bass line that is never to be forgotten to create an instant classic. O’Dell’s lyrics emotionally vocalise a failed romance as he belts out, “Could it make you happy…I wouldn’t know you from someone else.”

‘Hills End’, their debut album, tells you everything you need to know about DMA’S aesthetic. Positively overflowing with huge choruses and hooks galore, it’s a melting pot of ideas that sets the bands stall out perfectly: a touch of US alt rock-inspired skuzziness here (‘Your Low’), a bit of The La’s stripped-down dexterity there (‘Delete’) and lashings of anthemic, memorable moments make it a compelling, engrossing listen. But with these boys, there’s also much more than meets the eye – from lush middle eight’s that recall cult Aussie heroes Sleepy Jackson, to 808-inspired grooves, and the gloriously wall of sound guitar effects pedals that push much of the record to the next level. Features the singles ‘Delete’ & ‘Lay Down’.
