A perfect summer album that showed up in September was Broncho‘s addicting sophomore album was scoffed at by critics for being too “safe” and “repetitive” but I thought it was their touted glam-garage debut that went that route. This was just enough hip to be a perfect pop album. From start to finish, Broncho hits you with a constant barrage of punchy garage pop laced with new wave rhythms, saccharine melodies, and tongue-in-cheek snark. Some say the constant earworms begin to wear thin by the end of the record, but I feel the complete opposite But I loved the lay it on thick  drown me in hooks, doot-doot-doo’s, and replayable car-stereo-loud-with-the-window-down cuts. It’s not their fault they make pop seem this easy.
